Michael Keaton is in talks to return to the function of Batman within the upcoming Warner Bros. film “The Flash,” starring Ezra Miller, it was reported Monday.
The 68-year-old actor first performed the Caped Crusader in 1989’s “Batman” and 1992’s “Batman Returns,” each directed by Tim Burton. His most up-to-date enterprise into comic-book territory was as Vulture in “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” a part of Disney’s rival Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Throughout Keaton’s 28-year hiatus from taking part in Bruce Wayne and his crimefighting alter-ego, the half has been taken on by George Clooney, Val Kilmer, Christian Bale, Ben Affleck and shortly Robert Pattinson in “The Batman.”
In response to the Hollywood Reporter, the Oscar-winner might seem as Batman in a number of extra DC movies. “The Flash” is out in theaters June 3, 2022.
