Disney Releases Second WandaVision Trailer

After dropping the first WandaVision trailer in September, Disney is back with another look at the highly anticipated Marvel series. Today, we got to see more of Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany’s upcoming sitcom ahead of its January release. In a brand-new WandaVision trailer, Wanda Maximoff (Olsen) and Vision (Bettany) show us more of their futuristic life, welcoming us into their time-bending, genre-defying world.

“We are an unusual couple,” Wanda admits in the today’s trailer, with Vision replying, “Oh, I don’t think that was ever in question.” The new series, which takes place after the events of Avengers: End Game, sees Wanda and Vision living an idyllic life in the suburbs of Westview, but they must conceal their powers from their neighbors and friends. As they travel through time, they begin to suspect that their reality isn’t so picture perfect after all.

While WandaVision was originally slated to premiere in December, it was pushed back to January earlier this fall. Production halted in March due to the coronavirus pandemic, but the series wrapped in November. The series marks one of many Marvel projects set to hit Disney+ in the coming year. Fans are eagerly anticipating a Loki, Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Hawkeye release in 2021, with more series like What If…? and Ms. Marvel also on the way.

WandaVision is written by Black Widow’s Jac Schaeffer and directed by Matt Shakman (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia). Along with Olsen and Bettany, the series also stars Kathryn Hahn, Randall Park, Teyonah Parris, and Kat Dennings.

WandaVision premieres on Disney+ Jan. 15, 2021. Watch the full WandaVision trailer in the video above.
